LVNGbook

Revamping a responsive web app in accordance with AARP's accessibility recommendations, while staying true to the original brand's guidelines. The challenge arose as LVNGbook encountered a substantial user dropoff during the process of crafting custom cookbooks, mainly due to the web app's unintuitive design and readability issues.

To address these concerns, our team collaborated closely with both LVNGbook and AARP to deliver a fresh and user-centric web app experience tailored to the company's target audience.

For my UX Designer portfolio project, we began with extensive research, including competitive analysis, user interviews, surveys, and contextual inquiries.

Once the information was defined, we created an affinity map, user persona, and feature prioritization matrix.

Next, we developed the ideas into a fully responsive web app. We conducted a design studio, generating hand sketches from which we created low-fidelity wireframes, and finally, high-fidelity mockups.

Finally, we coordinated a smooth hand-off with the client's product team, providing all necessary assets and source files for them to implement our recommended changes promptly.

Our ultimate goal in this UX design project was to create a more reliable, enjoyable, and intuitive cookbook customization process for users. We knew we achieved success if customers could effortlessly and swiftly complete the customization process.

Through meticulous research, extensive user interviews, and competitive analysis, we developed a seamless workflow that allowed users to personalize their cookbooks with ease.

The improved design led to increased user satisfaction and a reduction in errors during customization, making the entire experience more delightful for our customers.
